The cyberCAR™ Car Simulator is designed to provide a complete solution for standardized and cost-effective training and evaluation of drivers of light motor vehicles. The cyberCAR™ is a "virtual car", constructed to replicate the interior of a typical light motor vehicle.

The driver sits in a comfortable seat and interacts with the simulator via a five-speed manual gearshift, handbrake, seatbelt, pedals, steering wheel and a complete dashboard. The driver's interface is accurate down to rear view mirrors, instrument clusters, lights and indicator switches, windscreen wiper controls, steering column and pedal controls.

The driver views the simulated 3D world on a high-resolution wide screen monitor and virtual rear view mirrors. An integrated audio system reproduces realistic sound effects such as engine and wind noise, hooting sounds, skidding effects and so forth, and an optional two degree of freedom motion seat provides the driver with realistic attitude and motion cues during the simulation. As the driver navigates the world, all aspects of driving are continuously monitored by the simulation computer, including adherence to national procedures, response to emergency conditions, defensive driving techniques and economic performance in terms of fuel use, tyre and brake wear, engine wear and other such costs.

The flexible nature of the cyberCAR™ Car Simulator makes it ideal for all types of driver training centers, educational establishments and government and private transport organizations. It is aimed at driver screening, beginner training, refresher training, driver evaluation and driver improvement.

The cyberCAR™ Car Simulator consists of a steel sub-assembly upon which is mounted the seat, the computing sub-system, the monitor, and the various prefabricated instruments and controls. The entire assembly is housed in an attractive fiberglass shell and mounted on omni directional castors for portability. The cyberCAR is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards.
