The CyberMINE™ dragline simulator is designed to provide ab-initio training to new operators and refresher training to existing operators in order to optimise skill levels. Correct training of draglines operators reduces bucket damage and wear. The life-span of other wear parts is also increased. In addition to this, improved operator skill levels results in increased productivity and fewer accidents.

The dragline operator sits in a high fidelity replicated cab and operates the instruments and controls as he would do in the actual equipment. A highly realistic 3D world depicted on three large screen displays, accurate articulation and rope dynamics, precise mathematical soil models, true motion feedback and realistic surround sound audio immerse the student operator in a realistic virtual environment. Correct skills and techniques are taught and honed so that they become second nature. The result is highly trained, motivated staff with all the skills necessary to increase productivity and operate safely.
