Haul Truck Simulators • Dump Truck Simulators
All models from all OEMs simulated, along with OEM optional features and third-party subsystems.
Effective haul truck operator training entrenches safety and optimises production tonnage. The haul truck and dump truck fleet is the life blood of surface mining operations and its safe and efficient operation is essential to mine profitability.
CYBERMINE Haul Truck Simulators and Dump Truck Simulators are the perfect training tool for training operators of large off-highway haul trucks and dump trucks whilst promoting safety of operation and attaining consistently high levels of operator productivity by using state-of-the-art simulator training techniques.
The CYBERMINE Haul Truck Simulator and Dump Truck Simulator range simulates heavy equipment from all major manufacturers such as Belaz, Bucyrus, Caterpillar (CAT), Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr and Terex.
“When your operator is hauling 300 tons down a low-traction slope in a 5 million dollar machine, you’ll be glad they’ve done it before in a CYBERMINE simulator.”
Accurate Vehicle Replication
The haul truck or dump truck simulator cab accurately replicates the interior of the actual vehicle. The mine trainee operates from a driver’s seat, surrounded by instruments and controls positioned at ergonomically correct locations. The truck driver’s interface is accurate down to steering and braking systems, lights, horn, indicators, pedals and gauges.
Virtual Mine Worlds
CYBERMINE mine truck simulator systems are delivered standard with a highly realistic, operating, open pit simulated mine world in which to operate. This virtual, 3D simulated mine comes complete with artificially intelligent, simulated shovels, excavators, bulldozers, haul trucks and other support equipment, together with pit, dump and crusher areas. Customised 3D own mine worlds which simulate your actual mine site, including mine haul routes, crusher buildings and loading areas are available on request.
All simulated mine truck behavioural dynamics are based on detailed mathematical models that use original equipment manufacturer specifications to provide accurate behavioural realism. As a result, full loading, hauling, reversing and dumping capability is included with each haul truck and dump truck simulation.
Training and evaluation tools
CYBERMINE Haul Truck Simulator and Dump Truck Simulator exercises may be configured for various training options, including different loads, loading methods, weather conditions, night driving, subsystem failures and advanced emergency situations. All aspects of the truck driver’s loading, hauling and dumping operations are continuously monitored and recorded by the CYBERMINE mine truck simulator system, including adherence to safety procedures, response to emergency situations and failures, driving techniques and productivity. These performance reports together with the instructor’s after-action-review capability provide a complete mine truck operator training and evaluation system.
Highly efficient and effective haul truck operator training is therefore realised on the CYBERMINE mine truck simulation system with no loss of production and no danger of accidents, even in the most complex of emergency situations.
Advanced Training Tools
Instructors have the ability of activating various advanced driver training tools depending on the skill level of the mine operator being trained. Training tools include reverse aids to assist heavy equipment operators in aligning with shovels and excavators, various other Head Up Display (HUD) options and mission planners to guide trainee operators through the mine world and to teach the various routes and cycles.
