Wheel Loader Simulators
CYBERMINE Wheel Loader Simulators prepare trainee operators for a variety of tasks under all expected conditions, quickly and effectively.
The mining wheel loader has evolved over the years to become a highly versatile, productive machine suited to many different applications in almost any mining operation. Consistently safe and efficient operation of wheel loaders in mining operations is essential for both loader operator safety and mine productivity.
With this in mind, CYBERMINE Wheel Loader Simulators apply state-of-the-art technologies to instil safety of operation and attain consistently high levels of efficiency in wheel loader operators.
The CYBERMINE Wheel Loader Simulator range simulates heavy equipment from all major manufacturers such as Caterpillar (CAT), Komatsu, Le Tourneau and P&H.
Accurate Vehicle Replication
All simulated wheel loader behaviour dynamics are based on detailed mathematical models that use vehicle manufacturer specifications to provide realistic behavioural response of the machine to operator inputs. In addition, the wheel loader simulation accurately models complicated physical interactions such as vehicle articulation and bucket and boom interaction.
Virtual Mine Worlds
Trainee operators are immersed in an extensive high-fidelity 3D mine world based on a typical opencast mine operation, complete with stockpile loading, pit loading, parking and dump areas, incorporating all essential features typically encountered on a surface mine site.
Artificially intelligent haul trucks interact with the wheel loader to train and evaluate the operator in correct loading procedures, including use of horn and bucket position as signals. World specific parameters and interactive events can be varied for a broader operator experience, such as rubble spillages, broken down haul trucks and road traffic.
Customised CYBERMINE own mine worlds are available on request. A 3D world that looks identical to your mine site and operates in accordance with your unique operating scenarios and procedures.
Training and Evaluation Tools
CYBERMINE Wheel Loader Simulator exercises may be configured to address various loader operator training requirements, including operations with different soil types, weather conditions, automated haul truck behavioural patterns, loading techniques, night operations, sub-system failures and advanced emergency situations.
The wheel loader operator’s inputs are continually monitored and recorded, together with adherence to safety procedures, correct equipment handling techniques and response to emergency situations and failures. These performance reports together with the instructor’s after-action-review capability provide a complete loader operator training and evaluation system, aimed at improving loader operator safety and optimising mine productivity.
Highly efficient and effective training is therefore realised on the CYBERMINE Wheel Loader Simulator with no loss of production and no danger of accidents, even in the most complex of emergency situations to which the mine operator might be expected to respond
