SIMULATOR CERTIFIED TRAINER
Quick start sim operation and use
Hit the ground running with our scalable Simulator Certified Trainer Programme. Delivered across three progressive levels, the programme builds the knowledge and confidence within your training team, to maximise training value from their simulator system.
Through a blend of e-learning and practical instruction, participants develop a thorough understanding of the simulator system, its individual components, tools and capabilities. Progressing through the course levels, your trainers will move from foundational system knowledge and basic troubleshooting to more advanced course planning, reporting and continuous improvement.
The programme is delivered onsite during the installation and commissioning phase of your simulator system, ensuring trainers are equipped to use the system effectively from day one.

CERTIFIED ENGINEER TRAINING
Empowered independence
Simulator uptime is critically important and while your CYBERMINE system is the most robust and reliable in the industry, technical faults can arise. The CYBERMINE Certified Engineer Training Course fortifies you against such eventualities by empowering your technical personnel to independently diagnose and repair a wide array of technical faults.
The course covers preventative maintenance activities, replacement of consumable and line removable items, advanced troubleshooting and both independent and remote-assisted fault resolution. All of this minimises support-related costs and maximises system availability and life.
Booking is essential for the course, which is conducted annually at our head office in Durban, South Africa and features lectures, practical demonstrations and hands-on training. All participants will attain with a comprehensive understanding of system architecture, assembly and repair, and will be provided with all necessary manuals, parts lists, and assembly drawings necessary to sustain them upon their return.
A complimentary seat is included with every Classic and Comprehensive Support Package.

Targeted Training Services
Simulator Utilisation Audit
A week-long, on-site audit to assess the degree to which your simulators have been integrated into site training processes, review site training methodology and curricula, analyse the level and quality of simulator utilisation and assess the operational competence of your simulator training staff.
The audit will identify both technological- and human-factor gaps, providing remedial recommendations to improve simulator utilisation and effectiveness.
The audit will be conducted by a ThoroughTec Customer Success Manager and will combine stakeholder interviews with documentation and process review and live training observation.
The result is a practical, actionable report outlining key recommendations to improve simulator utilisation, simulator training efficiency and thereby improve overall workforce development outcomes.
Targeted Training Initiative
The Targeted Training Initiative is a short-term, high-impact training solution designed to address specific operator performance issues at your site.
Working with site stakeholders, ThoroughTec’s Customer Success Manager (CSM) identifies a relevant operational KPI and the underlying operator behaviours affecting performance.
The CSM then develops an outcomes-focused training course, including appropriate simulator activities, and spends one week on site implementing the programme and coaching training staff on its delivery.
Following the intervention, the CSM remotely reviews the results and provides a training impact report with recommendations to improve simulator utilisation, training efficiency and workforce development outcomes.

Delivered on a per-Simulator cab basis, Simulator Curriculum and Integration is a comprehensive service to develop structured learning programs and appropriate training curricula, optimally integrated with your CYBERMINE Simulators.
Designed to boost training efficiency and optimise asset utilisation, the Simulator Curriculum and Integration pack provides a standardised and results-oriented simulator training framework for heavy machinery operators.
The customised simulator programmes are built on industry best practices and aligned with site-specific operational circumstances and training objectives.

OPERATOR PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME
Maximise performance with analytics, training & technology
ThoroughTec’s Operator Performance Improvement Programmes (PIPs) are designed to improve mine workforce performance through the analysis and exploitation of workforce performance data, and the development of corresponding, remedial training interventions.
The performance of individual operators is assessed in order to identify any behavioural issues that could negatively influence productivity, operating costs or operational safety. Appropriate remedial interventions are then developed and applied in a surgical fashion, so as to maximise operator performance gains with the absolute minimum of disruption to wider operations.
Intervention programmes are recommended to run for between six and twelve months and are phased according to criticality and potential performance returns. The workforce is continuously monitored to assess the effectiveness of the interventions and if necessary, shift the training focus as operational needs evolve.
OPERATOR PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME
Maximise performance with analytics, training & technology
A six-month programme intended to improve operator performance in a specific operational focus area. Client-supplied fleet operating data is analysed to identify material operator deficiencies and related opportunities for improvement through targeted remedial training.
Once a performance target has been identified, an appropriate intervention course will be developed and programmed into the simulators for delivery by client training staff under the guidance of ThoroughTec’s Customer Success Manager.
Throughout the programme, a combination of simulator and in-pit data will be collected to assess training impact and resulting changes to in-pit operator performance.
