To assist in achieving this, ThoroughTec offers a range of scalable services, from part-time mentorship and assistance to full-time facility management. Whatever your need, we have a service offering to guarantee the smooth and effective adoption of our technology, and help you achieve operational excellence.

TRAIN THE TRAINER
Quick start sim operation and use

Hit the ground running with our practical ‘Train the Trainer’, simulator instructor development course. In this course your instructors will become acquainted the features and capabilities of their simulators. They will learn how to structure and build courses, plan training activities and generally get the most from your state-of-the-art technology.
In addition, they will receive instruction on the first-line care and maintenance of your equipment, to further enhance system availability and facilitate organic troubleshooting of minor technical issues.
A complimentary Train the Trainer course is delivered during the installation and commissioning of every new simulator system, and additional courses can be arranged upon request.

CERTIFIED ENGINEER TRAINING
Empowered independence

Simulator uptime is critically important and while your CYBERMINE system is the most robust and reliable in the industry, technical faults can arise. The CYBERMINE Certified Engineer Training Course fortifies you against such eventualities by empowering your technical personnel to independently diagnose and repair a wide array of technical faults.
The course covers preventative maintenance activities, replacement of consumable and line removable items, advanced troubleshooting and both independent and remote-assisted fault resolution. All of this minimises support-related costs and maximises system availability and life.
Booking is essential for the course, which is conducted annually at our head office in Durban, South Africa and features lectures, practical demonstrations and hands-on training. All participants will attain with a comprehensive understanding of system architecture, assembly and repair, and will be provided with all necessary manuals, parts lists, and assembly drawings necessary to sustain them upon their return.
A complimentary seat is included with every Classic and Comprehensive Support Package.

OPERATOR PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME
Maximise performance with analytics, training & technology

ThoroughTec’s Operator Performance Improvement Programmes (PIPs) are designed to improve mine workforce performance through the analysis and exploitation of workforce performance data, and the development of corresponding, remedial training interventions.
The performance of individual operators is assessed in order to identify any behavioural issues that could negatively influence productivity, operating costs or operational safety. Appropriate remedial interventions are then developed and applied in a surgical fashion, so as to maximise operator performance gains with the absolute minimum of disruption to wider operations.
Intervention programmes are recommended to run for between six and twelve months and are phased according to criticality and potential performance returns. The workforce is continuously monitored to assess the effectiveness of the interventions and if necessary, shift the training focus as operational needs evolve.

Achieving Workforce Excellence

At the heart of our Workforce Excellence ecosystem lies our WX Training Management System (TMS), a powerful platform that unites all aspects of operator development, content delivery, performance monitoring, and training administration into a single, connected environment.
CYBERMINE training technologies such as Full Mission Simulators, E-learning, VR-Pre Trip Inspection Trainers are linked into a unified blended learning environment and when combined with WX Analytics and onsite performance monitoring systems, create a continuous learning loop. By consolidating these diverse training touchpoints, the WX TMS ensures that operator development is tracked, measured, and reinforced across every stage of training, enabling a fully integrated and data-driven approach to workforce excellence.
